Backing up InfoPrint Manager for Linux

If you want to back up InfoPrint Manager for Linux, you should back up these directories:

  • /ipdata (if used)
  • /usr/lpp/psf/config
  • Any file systems that begin with the path /var/pd/*
  • /var/pddir
  • Any file systems that begin with the path /var/psf/*
  • /var/spool/lpd
In addition, these individual files should be backed up:
  • /var/lib/pd/fst.ports
  • /etc/rc.pd.servers
  • /etc/services

When you install InfoPrint Manager for Linux 4.11, InfoPrint Manager backs up several files in the /tmp/IPMSAVE directory by adding a .bak qualifier to each file.
