Installing and Updating RICOH Cloud Connector using Command Prompt

You can install a higher version of RICOH Cloud Connector from the Subscription page of RICOH Account Administration.
Before installing RICOH Cloud Connector, download the package that is appropriate for your operating system and save it in a convenient location. Make sure the following conditions are fulfilled:
  • you have writing permission on rccInstallPath and on %ProgramData%\RICOH\Cloud Connector\ for Windows or /var/RICOH/Cloud Connector/ for Linux
  • rccInstallPath is valid. If the directory exists, it must be empty.
To install RICOH Cloud Connector,
  1. Open a Command Prompt window and navigate to the location where you saved the downloaded package. Make sure that you have permission to execute the package.
  2. Run this installation command:
    • For a clean installation:
      rccInstallerFileName --install --destination rccInstallPath
       --product productName --port portNumber
        Note:
      • If destination is not specified, the program installs RICOH Cloud Connector in %ProgramFiles%\RICOH\Cloud Connector\ for Windows or /usr/bin/RICOH/Cloud Connector/ for Linux.
      • If port is not specified, the program uses the port 15180. If you use a different port, make sure it is valid (between 1 and 65535) and free.
      • The product parameter is optional but if you enter it, make sure you specify a value.
    • For an update:
      rccInstallerFileName --install --product productName
        Note:
      • The product parameter is optional but if you enter it, make sure you specify a value.
The RICOH Cloud Connector service is installed or updated and it starts automatically after each successful installation, update or system restart.
