Finding the Port Number With Windows PowerShell
This section describes how to find the port number of the server computer, using Windows
PowerShell.
- In the Windows search box on the taskbar, type windows powershell, then select Windows PowerShell from the menu.
- In the Windows PowerShell dialog, enter this command:
- Press Enter.
- If 8080 is not displayed in the second column containing local ports, make sure that 8080 is entered in the Port Number field.
- If 8080 is displayed in the second column containing local ports, choose an integer
value greater than 1024 and less than 65535 that is not displayed after the colon.
During the installation process, enter the chosen value not displayed after the colon
or change it in the desktop application settings.Example: If 0.0.0.0:18024 is not displayed in the second column of local addresses, enter 18024.
