Users and Roles

Everyone who works with the web part of the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster has a user account that is assigned to a role. Roles define the level of access that users have and the actions they can do.

RICOH Auto Color Adjuster provides these users:

Administrator
Assigned to the Administrator role. Administrators have full access rights throughout the web part of the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster:
  • They can manage all the Configuration settings.
  • They can view the graph and manage all the options on the Management Console page.
  • They can create user accounts and assign them to roles.
  • They can also edit and delete user accounts.

When you log in for the first time after you install the application, you have a predefined default Administrator user. The default Username and Password are as follows:

  • User name: admin
  • Password: admin
    Important:
  • For security purposes, change the default password as soon as possible, after you log in for the first time.

Operator
Assigned to the Operator role. Operators have limited access throughout the web part of the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster:
  • They can manage all the configuration settings, except for the Users section.
  • They can view the graph and manage all the options on the Management Console page.
Viewer
Assigned to the Viewer role. Viewers have limited read-only access throughout the web part of the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster:
  • They can view the graph and all the options on the Management Console page.
  • They can select the information they want to have displayed in the graph.
