Location of Colorimetry Charts

Use this section to find the location of the color charts used with the Colorimetry function.

To find the colorimetry charts, go to C:\RicohAutoColorAdjuster\ReferenceChart\CMS. After you install the application, you have 50 subfolders in this location, each of them containing a predefined colorimetry chart in PDF format. Besides the PDF, each subfolder also contains the IT8 chart information file and other related files.

A unique ID range is assigned to each colorimetry chart. The first ID in the range is displayed at the bottom of the colorimetry chart. The first ID in the range also matches the file name of the chart and the name of the subfolder where that chart is stored. For example, subfolder 70001 contains the 70001.pdf colorimetry chart, where 70001 is the ID displayed at the bottom of each page of the chart. Because the chart has three pages, the chart ID range displayed in the Colorimetry dialog is 70001–70003.

You can also create your custom colorimetry charts following the structure of the sample chart information files available under C:\RicohAutoColorAdjuster\ReferenceChart\CMS\SampleChartInfoFiles. Once you create a custom colorimetry chart, a new subfolder is created under C:\RicohAutoColorAdjuster\ReferenceChart\CMS. The name of the new subfolder matches the file name and ID assigned to the colorimetry chart. The IDs of the custom colorimetry charts start from 80001. When you create a colorimetry chart, the application assigns a range of IDs to the new chart based on the number of chart pages.
