Identifying the PDF file of a Color Verification Chart

Use this section to identify the PDF file of the color chart for color verification. Then print the PDF file of the color verification chart that you want to use.

By default, there are 100 unique color verification charts in PDF format per color verification standard provided during the installation process. You can find extra color verification charts on the USB device provided with the spectrophotometer.

To identify the PDF file of a color verification chart:

  1. On the Configuration page, select Manage Color Charts.
    The Color Charts page is displayed.
  2. On the Color Charts page, identify your color chart based on the selected printer and paper.
  3. Identify the Color Verification ID assigned to your color chart.
  4. On your local drive, go to C:\RicohAutoColorAdjuster\ReferenceChart
    The color verification charts are stored based on the color verification standard in the following subfolders: analysis_Fogra_2021_A3, analysis_Fogra_A3, analysis_GRACoL_A3, analysis_JC_A3, analysis_SimpleGrayScale_A3.   5. Open the folder associated with the color verification standard selected while adding or editing the color chart.
  6. Identify the PDF file of your color chart based on its Color Verification ID displayed on the Color Charts page. For example, if the Color Verification ID displayed on the Color Charts page is 30001, then the PDF file name of the color adjustment chart you have to print is 30001_Analysis.pdf.
  7. If you need more than the 100 color charts provided during the installation, you can find them on the USB flash device.
    1. Connect the USB flash memory provided with the spectrophotometer to the server computer.
    2. Open the qca folder.
    3. If the Color Verification standard selected for the color chart is ISO 12647-8 Coated V3, from the chartPDF_Fogra.zip, extract the additional PDF files that you need.
    4. If the Color Verification standard selected for the color chart is GRACoL 2013, from the chartPDF_GRACoL.zip, extract the additional PDF files that you need.
    5. If the Color Verification standard selected for the color chart is Japan Color Digital, from the chartPDF_JC.zip, extract the additional PDF files that you need.
