Color Charts Page

This section describes each column displayed on the Color Charts page and the additional information revealed when you expand a color chart row. You can view the Color Charts table only after at least one color chart has been created.

After adding a color chart, the following columns are displayed for each chart on the Color Charts page:

Status
Displays the current status of the print operation for each color chart row.
  • In ProgressIn Progress indicates that a request for printing one of the color charts was submitted and is being processed.
  • SentSent indicates that the color chart was sent to the selected hot folder and is queued for printing. If an error occurred during a previous transmission of the other file associated with the same color chart, the SentSent status is not displayed until that error is cleared.
  • ErrorError indicates that an error occurred while sending the color chart to the selected hot folder. A successful subsequent transmission of the other file associated with the same color chart to print does not clear the error. The error status persists until the same color chart that encountered the issue is successfully sent to print.

  • To view the individual print status of the color profiling chart and color verification chart, expand the chart row.
Location
Displays the location of the printer for which the color chart is defined. The locations are defined in the Locations section.
Printer
Displays the printer selected when adding or editing the color chart. The printers are defined in the Printers section.
Paper Name
Displays the paper selected when adding or editing the color chart. The papers are defined in the Paper Catalog section.
ICC Profile Name
Displays the name of the ICC profile. The ICC Profile Name is entered when adding or editing the color chart.
Profiling Chart ID
Displays the ID of the color chart used for color adjustment. This ID is unique and appears in the top-right corner of the color profiling chart, aligned with the title. The ID is assigned when creating the color chart. For example, if the number in the top-right corner of the profiling chart is #24, then 24 represents the Profiling Chart ID.
Select the DownloadDownload button next to the ID to save the color profiling chart to your local drive. Once saved, you can print the color chart as needed.
Color Verification
Displays the color verification standard selected when adding or editing a chart in the Color Charts section.
Color Space
Displays the Color Space selected when adding or editing a chart in the Color Charts section.
Verification Chart ID
Displays the ID of the color chart used for color verification. The ID is unique and appears in the top-right corner of the color verification chart, aligned with the title. This ID is assigned to a verification chart based on the Color Verification standard selected when adding or editing a chart in the Color Charts section.

For example, if the number in the top-right corner of the color verification chart is #30001, then 30001 represents the Verification Chart ID.

Select the DownloadDownload button next to the ID to save the color verification chart to your local drive. Once saved, you can print the color chart as needed.

If you expand a color chart row, the following additional information and operations are available:

DFE Type
Displays the type of the DFE used with the printer. The DFE Type is entered when defining the printers in the Printers section.
DFE Host
Displays the IP address or host name of the DFE. The DFE Host is entered when defining the printers in the Printers section.
DFE Server
Displays the server name of your Fiery DFE. The DFE Server is entered when defining the printers in the Printers section.
Paper Type
Displays the type of the paper selected for each color chart. The Paper Type is selected when adding or editing a color chart in the Paper Catalog section.
Adjustment Limits
Displays whether the color adjustment limits used for the color chart are the Default or the Customized ones.
Trim Box
Displays whether the color chart includes a trim box.
Print button for the Color Profiling Chart
Select to send the color profiling chart to the specified hot folder used for printing files.
Print button for the Color Verification Chart
Select to send the color verification chart to the specified hot folder used for printing files.
The date, time, and status of the latest print operation are displayed next to the Print buttons only after at least one file was sent to a specified hot folder for print.
