Adding an Object

Whenever you see the AddAdd button button for an object type in a section of the Configuration page, you can create an object of that type.
To add an object:
  1. On the Configuration page, go to the appropriate section.
    For example, to add a printer location, select Manage Locations.
  2. To add an object, select the AddAdd button button in the section you want to update.
      Note:
    • You can also use the AddAdd button button in most of the pages you can access from the Configuration page.
  3. Enter a unique name for the new object and specify the correct values for it. Make sure that the data you enter in the fields is valid, and that you fill out all the required fields.

  4. Select the SaveSave button button. As an alternative, to save the object using the keyboard, press Enter. For more information about saving an object, see Saving an Object.
The new object is displayed in the list.
