Deleting an Object

Whenever you see the Delete Delete button

button for an object type in a section of the Configuration page, you can delete an object of that type.

Note:

If no object is selected, the Delete button is disabled.
You cannot delete objects while they are in use. For example, you cannot delete a location if it is associated with a printer. Also, you cannot delete a paper or a printer if it is part of a chart. In such cases, the Delete button is also disabled.

To delete an object:

On the Configuration page, go to the appropriate section.
For example, to delete a printer location, select Manage Locations.
Select the checkbox next to the object that you want to delete.
- To delete multiple objects from the same list simultaneously, select the checkbox next to all the objects you want to delete.
- Another way to select an object for deletion is to open it in edit mode. In this case, you cannot delete multiple objects at the same time. For more information, see Editing an Object.
Select the Delete button.
You see a confirmation message.
On the confirmation dialog, select OK to confirm the delete action.
