Refreshing a List of Objects or Section
Whenever you see the Refresh
button for a list of objects in a section of the Configuration page, you can refresh the list of objects displayed on that page. If more than one
user are simultaneously adding or editing objects from different systems, use the
Refresh option to display the complete and up-to-date list.
On the Default Settings and Scan History pages, the Refresh button resets the values to the previously saved custom values. For more information about resetting the values, see Default Settings and Scan History.
On the Management Console page, the Refresh button refreshes the graphs to show all the printers and papers. For example, if
measurement results are generated while the page is already loaded, select the Refresh
button to obtain and view the latest measurement results. For details about the Management Console page, see Using the Management Console Page.
To refresh a list of objects or section:
- In the web application, go to the appropriate section. For example, to refresh a list of locations, select.
- Select the Refresh
button.
- Note:
- The refresh action using the button from the application does not affect the filter and sort functions.
- The refresh action is also triggered whenever you open a page containing objects or return to that page once you add, edit, or delete an object. These actions also clear the filter and reset the sort order to the default one.
- Alternatively, you can use the Refresh button from your web browser to reload a page. Using that button clears the filter and resets the sort order to the default one.
