Managing Objects

The web part of the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster includes various system objects that you need to work with if you are using the Quick Color Adjustment function. System objects include printer locations, printers, papers, color charts, and users. You can add, edit, save, delete, refresh, filter, and sort objects on the Configuration page.

  1. Adding an Object
    Whenever you see the AddAdd button button for an object type in a section of the Configuration page, you can create an object of that type.
  2. Editing an Object
    Whenever you see the EditEdit button button for an object type in a section of the Configuration page, you can change the properties of that object.
  3. Saving an Object
    Whenever you see the SaveSave button button for an object type in a section of the Configuration page, you can save an object of that type.
  4. Deleting an Object
    Whenever you see the DeleteDelete button button for an object type in a section of the Configuration page, you can delete an object of that type.
  5. Refreshing a List of Objects or Section
    Whenever you see the RefreshRefresh button button for a list of objects in a section of the Configuration page, you can refresh the list of objects displayed on that page. If more than one user are simultaneously adding or editing objects from different systems, use the Refresh option to display the complete and up-to-date list.
  6. Resetting Values to Default
    Whenever you see the ResetReset all values to default button in a section of the Configuration page, you can reset the values on that page to default.
  7. Applying Filters to a List of Objects
    Whenever you see the Filter... field for a list of objects in a section of the Configuration page, you can filter the object list displayed on that page.
  8. Sorting a List of Objects
    Whenever you have a list of objects in a section of the Configuration page, you can sort that list of objects in ascending or descending order. By default, the new objects are displayed in chronological order, where the object at the bottom of the list is the most recently added object.
  9. Expanding an Object or Section
    Whenever you see the ExpandExpand button button for an object or section on the Management Console page, you can expand that object or section for viewing additional information or various configuration options.
  10. Collapsing an Object or Section
    Whenever you see the CollapseCollapse button button for an object or section on the Management Console page, you can collapse that object or section for hiding details or various configuration options.
