Managing Objects
The web part of the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster includes various system objects that you need to work with if you are using the Quick Color Adjustment function. System objects include printer locations, printers, papers, color charts,
and users. You can add, edit, save, delete, refresh, filter, and sort objects on the
Configuration page.
In this section:
- Adding an ObjectWhenever you see the Add
button for an object type in a section of the Configuration page, you can create an object of that type.
- Editing an ObjectWhenever you see the Edit
button for an object type in a section of the Configuration page, you can change the properties of that object.
- Saving an ObjectWhenever you see the Save
button for an object type in a section of the Configuration page, you can save an object of that type.
- Deleting an ObjectWhenever you see the Delete
button for an object type in a section of the Configuration page, you can delete an object of that type.
- Refreshing a List of Objects or SectionWhenever you see the Refresh
button for a list of objects in a section of the Configuration page, you can refresh the list of objects displayed on that page. If more than one user are simultaneously adding or editing objects from different systems, use the Refresh option to display the complete and up-to-date list.
- Resetting Values to DefaultWhenever you see the Reset
button in a section of the Configuration page, you can reset the values on that page to default.
- Applying Filters to a List of ObjectsWhenever you see the Filter... field for a list of objects in a section of the Configuration page, you can filter the object list displayed on that page.
- Sorting a List of ObjectsWhenever you have a list of objects in a section of the Configuration page, you can sort that list of objects in ascending or descending order. By default, the new objects are displayed in chronological order, where the object at the bottom of the list is the most recently added object.
- Expanding an Object or SectionWhenever you see the Expand
button for an object or section on the Management Console page, you can expand that object or section for viewing additional information or various configuration options.
- Collapsing an Object or SectionWhenever you see the Collapse
button for an object or section on the Management Console page, you can collapse that object or section for hiding details or various configuration options.
