Printing the Color Verification Chart Using TotalFlow Print Server with a Cut Sheet Printer
This section describes the settings required for printing the color verification chart
using a TotalFlow Print Server DFE with a cut sheet printer.
- Put the paper in the paper tray.
- In the TotalFlow Print Server DFE, go to the Jobs page.
- Select your print job and select the Edit
button.
The Job Properties dialog is displayed. - In the left pane of the Job Properties dialog, select Paper.
- If you want to select a predefined paper, expand the Paper list, select Paper catalog, then select a paper from the list.
- If you want to define a paper manually, select the paper Type, Size, and Weight.
- In the left pane, select Color, then select the CMYK input profile associated with the Color Verification value displayed on the Color Charts page.
- Note:
- If Japan Color Digital is the Color Verification value displayed on the Color Charts page, select Japan Color 2011 Coated as the CMYK input profile.
- If ISO 12647-8 Coated V3 is the Color Verification value displayed on the Color Charts page, select PSO Coated v3 as the CMYK input profile.
- If GRACoL 2013 is the Color Verification value displayed on the Color Charts page, select GRACoL2013 CRPC6 as the CMYK input profile.
- Set the Reference profile to None.
- Set the Printer profile, front to the output profile created during the color adjustment process.
- Set Rendering intent to Relative Colorimetric.
- If the RIP type is Heidelberg APPE, set the Blackpoint compensation to Off.
- If the RIP type is Heidelberg APPE, set Preserve Pure Black to Off.
- Set Black (text/line art) to Normal.
- If the RIP type is SCREEN APPE, Kodak APPE, or CPSI, set Black/Gray reproduction to Off.
- In the left pane, select Print Quality, then select the same Halftone screening option as the one you used when you created the ICC profile.
- If the RIP type is SCREEN APPE, set the CMYK overprint sequence to After color conversion.
