Printing the Color Verification Chart Using the RICOH Pro VC80000

This section describes the settings required for printing the color verification chart using the RICOH Pro VC80000. Since the ICC profile used on Printer 1 is different from the ICC profile used on Printer 2, apply these required print settings to both Printer 1 and Printer 2.
    Note:
  • Make sure the color verification chart is sent either to Printer 1 or to Printer 2 depending on your corresponding target printer.
  • Make sure you impose the job before sending it to print, so that the verification chart is sent to the target printer.

To print the color verification chart using the RICOH Pro VC80000:

  1. In the TotalFlow Print Server DFE of the RICOH Pro VC80000, go to the Configuration page.
  2. In the left pane, select Settings.
  3. Select the Resolution / Speed, set the Dryer Temperatures, and the Type of Flushing.
  4. In the left pane of the Configuration page, select Substrate.
  5. In the Substrate field, select a substrate from the list and load it.
  6. If you want to add a substrate, specify the name and values for it. Then, load the new substrate.
  7. In the left pane of the Configuration page, select Color Management Settings.
  8. Set the Color/Black and white field to Color.
  9. In the left pane, select Print Quality.
  10. Select the Ink limit and Tone curve.
  11. Go to the Jobs page.
  12. Select your print job and select the EditEdit button button.
    The Job Properties dialog is displayed.
  13. In the left pane of the Job Properties dialog, select Form.
  14. In the Form field, select one of the forms from the list.
      Note:
    • If you select Custom, specify the Width and Length of the form.
  15. In the left pane, select Color.
  16. Expand the INPUT PROFILES section and select the CMYK input profile associated with the Color Verification value displayed on the Color Charts page.
      Note:
    • If Japan Color Digital is the Color Verification value displayed on the Color Charts page, select Japan Color 2011 Coated as the CMYK input profile.
    • If ISO 12647-8 Coated V3 is the Color Verification value displayed on the Color Charts page, select PSO Coated v3 as the CMYK input profile.
    • If GRACoL 2013 is the Color Verification value displayed on the Color Charts page, select GRACoL2013 CRPC6 as the CMYK input profile.
  17. Set the Reference profile to None.
  18. Expand the PRINTER PROFILES section and set the Printer profile, front or Printer profile, back to the output profile created during the color adjustment process.
  19. Set Rendering intent to Relative Colorimetric.
  20. Expand the ADVANCED SETTINGS section and set the Black (text/line art) field to Normal.
  21. Set Black/Gray reproduction to Off.
