Changing the Password for Another User

The Administrator can change a password for a user if they forget their password or feel it has been compromised.
    Note:
  • For security purposes, we recommend users to change their password once they receive it from the Administrator.
To change the password for another user:
  1. On the Configuration page of the web application, select the Manage Users button.
  2. On the Users page, select the checkbox next to the user whose password you want to change. Then select the PasswordPassword button button.
      Note:
    • You can also change the password by selecting the PasswordPassword button button on the Edit User page.
  3. On the Change Password page, enter a new password.
After you enter the new password, the Confirm New Password field is enabled.
  4. In the Confirm New Password field, type the same password again.
      Note:
    • The password must be at least 4 characters and no more than 100 characters in length.
    • If the two passwords do not match, an error occurs.
  5. Select the SaveSave button button.
If the password is being changed while that user account is signed in, the user can continue doing any actions without restrictions. The user must enter the new password at the next login.
