Turning On the Scanner

Use this procedure to turn on the scanner.

    Important:
  • Do not turn on the scanner immediately after turning it off. Wait until the indicator light remains off for at least 10 seconds before turning the scanner back on.

To turn on the scanner:

  1. Check that the power indicator of the scanner is not lit.Power indicator of the scanner
  2. Make sure that the power cable is plugged securely into the wall outlet.
  3. Turn on the power switch on the left side of the scanner.Power switch
    The indicator lights up in blue.
  4. Turn on the power of the computer that is connected to the scanner.
