Audit and message file removal
When a print job leaves the RICOH ProcessDirector system, audit files are created to record data about the job. In addition, all the
message logs are exported to files every three days. While these files are useful,
they also take up space on the system. If they are not deleted periodically, they
can begin to impact system performance.
When RICOH ProcessDirector is installed, a script that deletes these files is installed. By default, the script runs daily at midnight and deletes the job audit and message log files that are over 28 days old.
