Configuration Settings when Using the Pull Print Feature with a Ricoh StreamlineNX Server

This section describes how to configure your Ricoh StreamlineNX server to work with the InfoPrint Manager Pull Print Feature. For more detailed information on how to configure and use Ricoh StreamlineNX, consult the Ricoh StreamlineNX documentation.

Adding a new InfoPrint Manager server in StreamlineNX

To add a new InfoPrint Manager server in StreamlineNX:

  1. Log into the Ricoh StreamlineNX application with an user account that has Customer Engineer role.
  2. Select System->Advanced System Settings Editor. This editor is only available for the user defined above.
  3. In the Advanced System Settings Editor, click View->Delegation Server Settings.
  4. For each of the delegation servers on which a connector is installed:
    1. Select the delegation server.
    2. To create optional configuration keys, click the (Add) button in the Configuration keys table and name the key ds.print.xsc.activate.
    3. Enter Text for Type and 1 for Value.
    4. To enable pull job printing, click the (Add) button in the Configuration keys table and name the key ds.print.xsc.pull.
    5. Enter Boolean for Type and true for Value.
  5. Go to System->External Print Systems-> IPM tab.
  6. Click the (Add) button.
  7. In the Settings panel, add a source server URL:
    • For Anyplace queues, enter: http://IPMServerName_or_IPAddress:14080/ipmnx or https://IPMServerName_or_IPAddress:14443/ipmnx for secure connections.
    • For Anyplace and Pull Print queues, enter: http://IPMServerName_or_IPAddress:14080/ipmnx:all or https://IPMServerName_or_IPAddress:14443/ipmnx:all for secure connections.
  8. Do not change the default settings for the Input Queue Type and Output Queue Mapping options.
  9. To save your settings, click the (Save) button.
