Limitations

The current limitations with the PS2PDF transform include:

  • Encryption method revision number is V2 from PDF reference documentation.
  • Permissions apply correctly when both owner and user passwords are specified.
  • Linearization is incompatible with producing an encrypted (password protected) PDF file. Linearization is ignored when used together with encryption.
