Connecting to Hot Folders and Printers
Jobs received in RICOH TotalFlow Producer are usually submitted to printers, hot folders, and other directories on your network.
You can use TotalFlow Producer hot folders or printers and RICOH Cloud Connector to transfer the files securely or to submit jobs.

- Connecting to Hot Folders and Printer Hot FoldersYou can submit the jobs received in RICOH TotalFlow Producer to hot folders, printer hot folders, and other directories on your network. You can use TotalFlow Producer hot folders and RICOH Cloud Connector to transfer the files securely.
- Connecting to PrintersWith a RICOH TotalFlow Producer Advanced or Trial subscription, you can submit jobs directly to printers running in your local network and follow the printing progress. To communicate with the printers, you must install RICOH Cloud Connector along with the RICOH Printer Connector component. The RICOH Printer Connector component is only included in the Windows version of RICOH Cloud Connector.
- Downloading RICOH Cloud ConnectorYou can download the latest version of RICOH Cloud Connector from the Connectors tab in RICOH Account Administration. Download the package onto the server where you plan to install the application.
- Installing or Updating RICOH Cloud ConnectorAfter downloading the current version of RICOH Cloud Connector, install it on the server that you identified.
- Setting up RICOH Cloud ConnectorAfter you install RICOH Cloud Connector, you must configure it to communicate with RICOH TotalFlow Cloud.
- Sending Jobs to an EFI Fiery hot folderTo submit jobs to a printer that uses the EFI Fiery controller, define a TotalFlow Cloud hot folder that transfers jobs to a hot folder defined and managed through the Fiery Hot Folders application.
- Sending Jobs to a Hot Folder or DirectoryTo download jobs to a hot folder that sends them to another application or to any directory in your network, define a TotalFlow Cloud hot folder.
