Logical Page

A logical page is the area you define in a PPFA command stream as the space on the physical page where data is printed. The logical page is positioned in relation to the media origin. For more information about the media origin of your printer, refer to your printer documentation. The positioning of the logical page on the sheet of paper is described in Positioning a Logical Page on a Sheet.

An N_UP command enables you to place one, two, three, or four logical pages on a single sheet. This is in contrast to multiple-up printing, which enables you to place subpages on one logical page.
