Highlighting
This publication uses four different types of highlighting:
- Bold
- In this publication, bold highlighting identifies commands, attributes, files, directories, and other items whose names the system predefines, such as pdpr and notification-profile.
- Italic
- When used in running text, italic highlighting identifies a variable item whose actual name or value you supply, such as AttributesFileName or Notification. Italics also identify publication titles.
- BoldItalic
- When enclosed in double quotation marks, combined bold and italic highlighting identifies a specific attribute name that you enter exactly as shown and a variable value that you supply with the attribute. For example: "copy-count=number"
Monospace
- When used in command examples, information in a monospaced font identifies the exact wording of the command.
