Identifies the IP address of the remote client submitting jobs to InfoPrint Manager. Jobs that are submitted through local receiver/gateways (such as IPP, lpd, or Download for z/OS) are not considered remote.

Usage Guidelines

  • InfoPrint Manager uses this attribute to hold the IP address of a client or receiver process submitting jobs to InfoPrint Manager.
  • The submitter-ip-address attribute never appears unless the PD_SUBMITTER_IP_ADDRESS_FORMAT=IPADDR environment variable has been set.
