Considerations when migrating to InfoPrint Manager for Windows Version 4.13

Backup your entire machine using your backup software before you upgrade the Windows operating system.

Upgrade the Windows operating system to a supported level of Windows for InfoPrint Manager for Windows. See Server software prerequisites in the "Verifying prerequisites" chapter for the list of supported Windows operating systems.

If the sap2afp feature is installed on InfoPrint Manager for Windows when you migrate to Version 4.13, the sap2afp feature might not have been removed from the Control Panel ⇒ ADD/Remove programs. Therefore, after installing the sap2afp feature, two instances of sap2afp might appear in the Control Panel ⇒ ADD/Remove programs. This double entry causes no problems, and it can be ignored.
