Limitations

The xml2afp transform has these limitations:

  • Support for image formats other than MO:DCA page segments, MO:DCA overlays, and IOCA images is not included.
  • Support for the Calibration GUI and halftones is not included.
  • The XSL style sheet must be on the server where the transform is invoked or at a URL accessible from the InfoPrint Manager server.
  • The transform must have access to the AFP and OpenType fonts used by PSF to print the job. The transform requires the fonts to get metrics for the different characters, and this path is specified in the configuration file or on the command line.
  • To use the xml2afp transform with default configuration, you must install the appropriate font features for either InfoPrint Fonts, Version 1.1.0, or AFP Font Collection, Version 2.1.0.
  • To use the xml2afp transform with default configuration, you must install the appropriate font features for either InfoPrint Collection, Version 3.1.0
  • Specify Inputfile as the last argument on the command line for the xml2afp transform.
