Overview

This chapter describes the functions of the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster application used with the scanner, the configuration of the required devices, the scanner parts, and the scanner characteristics.

    The RICOH Auto Color Adjuster provides an efficient solution for achieving printer color calibration, verification of the calibration results against different color standards, color matching, and colorimetry. The RICOH Auto Color Adjuster solution includes the dedicated software application and a spectrophotometer, which is a scanner able to measure color with precision.
  2. Configuration of Required Devices
    Use a computer connected to the scanner via USB to operate the scanner, import a profile to the DFE, and access the web interface. Optionally, you can also use a network computer connected to the scanner to access the web interface.
  3. Description of Scanner Parts
    This section describes the basic parts of the scanner.
  4. Specifications
    Specifies technical details and characteristics of the scanner.
