Highlighting

This publication uses four different types of highlighting:

Bold
In this publication, bold highlighting identifies commands, attributes, files, directories, and other items whose names the system predefines, such as pdpr and notification-profile.
Italic
When used in running text, italic highlighting identifies a variable item whose actual name or value you supply, such as AttributesFileName or Notification. Italics also identify publication titles.
BoldItalic
When enclosed in double quotation marks, combined bold and italic highlighting identifies a specific attribute name that you enter exactly as shown and a variable value that you supply with the attribute. For example: "copy-count=number"
Monospace
When used in command examples, information in a monospaced font identifies the exact wording of the command.
