Usage Guidelines

  • When the value of eoj-cse-sheet-eject is true and the job is printing in CSE mode, at the end of each job the last sheet is completed regardless of whether the sheet is full or not. This forces each job to start on a new sheet of paper.
  • For printers that cannot stop paper movement immediately on a sheet boundary and emit blank sheets when the paper is stopped, specifying true for eoj-cse-sheet-eject forces the last sheet of the last job in the queue to print.
  • Forcing the last sheet of the last job to print causes the last sheet to print together with the rest of the job without being separated by blank sheets.
  • When eoj-cse-sheet-eject is false, normal CSE mode is used, which means if one job ends in the middle of a sheet, the next job starts on the other half of the same sheet.
  • If the last job in the queue ends in the middle of a sheet and the printer cannot stop the paper movement immediately on a sheet boundary, the printer ejects blank sheets to separate the last job from the next job.
