Defining a print rule sequence

A print rule sequence lets you string together a series of rules to do a series of tasks. This topic provides the specific procedure you can use to create a sequence of print rules.

To create a print rule sequence, use this procedure from the InfoPrint Manager Web Administration Interface:

  1. In the left-hand Objects panel, click the Logical Destination tab and select the destination that you want to send the job to.
  2. Click , the Menu icon, and select the Properties option.
  3. In the Properties for... dialog, click General.
    The available print rules are listed in the Print Rule Sequence field.
  4. Select the print rules that you want to use and drag and drop them in the desired order.
    For example, you might want to create a three-step print rule sequence that runs the previously defined print rules in a determined order as described above.
  5. When you have entered the print rules in the correct sequence, click OK to associate this print rule sequence with the selected destination.
