Working with InfoPrint Select Notifications

By default when you submit a job using InfoPrint Select, a notification profile is sent with the job. If you have the InfoPrint Manager Message window running when you submit a print job using InfoPrint Select, notifications are requested. If the InfoPrint Manager Message window is not running, notifications are not requested.

To change the port SMTP sends notifications to, go to the Settings menu and select Configure notification port. You see the InfoPrint Manager Message port dialog. In the Notification port field, type in the number of the new port you want SMTP to use for notifications. The default is 5157.

To activate the InfoPrint Manager Message window, select InfoPrint Select Notifications from the InfoPrint Select menu.

To turn off the InfoPrint Manager Message window, click X in the upper right corner of the window and then click OK on the warning message.
