Accessing the pfb2pfa utility

The Transform Feature includes the pfb2pfa utility in the /opt/infoprint/itm/tools/pfb2pfa directory.
To access the pfb2pfa utility:
  1. Access the command line.
  2. Enter this command: cd /opt/infoprint/itm/tools/pfb2pfa
  3. Enter the input and output font names that you need to transform to ASCII: pfb2pfa Type1fontASCIIfont
Now, you can use the Resources distributor dialog to move ASCIIfont to the directory of the Transform Feature. In the Resources distributor dialog, select Font as the Resources type.

  • The Transform Feature on Windows includes the pfb2pfa.exe utility in the TF_install_path\tools\pfb2pfa directory.
