Windows gateway printer
A Windows gateway printer is a Windows shared printer that you create on your InfoPrint Manager server system. This allows users anywhere in the network to submit print jobs through InfoPrint Manager. Users must follow the instructions in Adding a Windows gateway printer to a workstation to add the Windows gateway printer to their desktops. Use the Management Console to create and administer a Windows gateway printer. The Management Console help includes instructions.
Note: When InfoPrint Manager is uninstalled, all Windows Gateway printers are deleted. Therefore, you must have
your users manually delete the Windows Gateway printer from their desktops after the
uninstall.
