IPP gateway printer

InfoPrint Manager provides an Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) gateway. The IPP gateway allows users anywhere in the network who have IPP client software installed to submit print jobs through InfoPrint Manager, even to printers that are not IPP-enabled. Users must follow the instructions provided with the IPP client to add a printer to their desktops. Use the Management Console to enable the IPP gateway.

An Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) gateway printer is a printer that you create on a client workstation using IPP client software. Users submit print jobs to that printer, and they are sent to InfoPrint Manager through the InfoPrint IPP gateway. The IPP gateway can then send the job on to any InfoPrint printer, even those that are not IPP-enabled.
