Upgrading from C/C++ AFP2PDF transform to AFP2PDF Plus
AFP2PDF Plus Transform was designed to be plug-in compatible with the previous version
of the transform, C/C++ AFP2PDF transform.
To upgrade from the C/C++ AFP2PDF transform to AFP2PDF Plus, you can choose either of these methods:
- Using the
upgrade.jar
fileUpgrade.jar
creates a backup of the C/C++ AFP2PDF transform and replaces it with AFP2PDF Plus. For more information on how to use this option, see the chapter Upgrading from AFP2PDF to AFP2PDF Plus Transform from the AFP2PDF Plus Transform User's Guide.
- Installing the AFP2PDF Plus on the same physical server or on a separate new physical
server
Leaves the C/C++ AFP2PDF transform intact and installs AFP2PDF Plus to run in parallel with the C/C++ version.
