Operation Workflow of Colorimetry

Print the chart for colorimetry on the printer whose colors you want to adjust, and use the scanner to scan the chart for measuring its colors. Save the measurement result in IT8 or CGATS TXT format. Load this file in a color management app or other application, and use it to manage the color quality of a printer.

    Note:
  • You can select a chart from the list of charts for colorimetry that are commonly used. You can also select the paper size and color boxes to create a chart for colorimetry.

  1. Start Colorimetry and add a chart for colorimetry.Adding a chart for colorimetry
      Note:
    • You can also select one of the charts for colorimetry that are already created.
  2. Print the chart for colorimetry on the printer whose colors you want to measure.Printing the chart for colorimetry
  3. In Colorimetry, select the measurement type, the save location of the measurement results, and other settings.
  4. Scan the printed colorimetry chart.Scanning the colorimetry chart
    The measurement results are saved to your local drive.
