Print throughput performance

The scope of this section is to help determine an optimum number of objects that the InfoPrint Manager server can handle, to avoid network/disk bottlenecks, large memory increases, or high CPU usage.

A single InfoPrint Manager server instance was tested in two configurations:

  1. Using high speed continuous forms printers, optimizing InfoPrint Manager to give a constant high print throughput using AFP documents for printing.

  2. Using cut sheet printers, optimizing InfoPrint Manager to support SAP print and PSF-Other/Passthru printing.
