Using InfoPrint Manager with the InfoPrint 5000 to print AFP

This procedure takes you through steps to submit different kinds of jobs to the InfoPrint 5000 using different methods. This list describes these scenarios:

  • An Advanced Function Presentation (AFP) document created in a page layout application is submitted through InfoPrint Manager for printing to the InfoPrint 5000 using the command line. Color images are transformed offline using the AIX command line.
  • A PostScript document is submitted for printing to the InfoPrint 5000 using InfoPrint Submit Express.
  • A document created in a Windows application is submitted through InfoPrint Select for printing to the InfoPrint 5000.
  • A document is submitted for printing to the InfoPrint 5000 using Download for z/OS.
