Working with print jobs
When using Submit Express to create the job ticket, you identify and organize the printable files and other resources that make up the job. Processing a job ticket includes these steps:
- Creating a job ticket
- Adding files, sheets, hardcopy, and documents to the job ticket
- Selecting the layout of the job, the desired server and printer, and other attributes of the job
- Setting print options, such as saving the RIP file or holding the job at the printer
- Submitting the job
- Tracking the job by displaying messages
Important: Submit Express sets the user@host information for the job (FST mode). It does not use LDAP/ Active Directory information.
