Configuring the automatic download of registry updates from a Linux update server

To facilitate the installation on multiple machines, you can export the registry settings from a correctly configured machine.
  1. Run ipmupdateserverctl freeze to enter Maintenance mode.
Note: The Maintenance mode unlocks the product path folder and you can add and remove any files contained in the parent folder. The InfoPrint Manager server is also temporarily disabled.
  2. Copy the registry file with updated settings to the Registry folder.
      Note:
    • The new registry settings can be exported as a .reg file using regedit.exe. Export the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\RICOH\Infoprint Select\Configuration.
    • The default Registry directory is /var/lib/ipmupdateserver/Products/InfoPrint Select/Windows/nn.nn.nn.nn/Registry where nn.nn.nn.nn is the version number.
  3. Run ipmupdateserverctl unfreeze to exit Maintenance mode.
