Configuring the automatic download of registry updates from a Linux update server
To facilitate the installation on multiple machines, you can export the registry settings
from a correctly configured machine.
- Run
ipmupdateserverctl freeze
to enter Maintenance mode.Note: The Maintenance mode unlocks the product path folder and you can add and remove any files contained in the parent folder. The InfoPrint Manager server is also temporarily disabled. - Copy the registry file with updated settings to the Registry folder.

- The new registry settings can be exported as a .reg file using regedit.exe. Export the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\RICOH\Infoprint Select\Configuration
. - The default
Registry
directory is/var/lib/ipmupdateserver/Products/InfoPrint Select/Windows/nn.nn.nn.nn/Registry
where nn.nn.nn.nn is the version number.
