Solving problems caused by antivirus software
Programs that scan and lock files, such as antivirus products, often cause installation, functioning, and performance problems.
In some situations, antivirus software has caused InfoPrint Manager to:
- Fail to install.
- Fail when running a custom step.
- Experience degraded performance.
- Block network traffic on some ports.
You may need to exclude some directories from scanning in order to avoid these consequences.
Suggested directories include:
- C:\Program Files\Ricoh\InfoPrint Manager
- C:\ProgramData\RICOH
