Configuring the AFP driver

Once the files have been installed, you must complete the process of configuring the AFP driver by creating a printer that uses the driver. If you are installing the driver on a client workstation that has InfoPrint Select installed on it, see the InfoPrint Select readme file for instructions on creating a Select printer that uses this driver. If you are installing this driver on the system that your InfoPrint Manager server is installed on, follow the appropriate procedure below.

    Note:
  1. The Windows printers that result from these procedures do not send print jobs to actual printer devices; they generate files. To create a Windows printer that sends jobs to one of your printer devices, change the procedure as necessary.
  2. Once you complete this procedure, you can delete the printer that you created. The driver will still be installed.
