Before migrating to InfoPrint Manager 4.9

If you are migrating from a previous level of InfoPrint Manager, it is strongly recommended that you back up your InfoPrint Manager for Windows install directories, any directories that have been moved out from under the install directory since the initial installation of the product, and the Windows registry. Directories that have been moved out from under the install directory can be identified through the InfoPrint Manager Management Console (Start → Programs → InfoPrint Manager → Management Console). From the Management Console, go to Edit → Service Configuration. Check all paths listed on the displayed panel to determine if any are not in the base install directory. Make note of any paths that are not in the base install directory.

This backup is required to remove the new version from your system and restore InfoPrint Manager to its previous state.

Note: We suggest that you test the migration on a non-commercial system before installing it in a commercial environment.
