Changing the password for the DB2 instance user

If you use a DB2 server on a separate computer, whenever you change the password for the RICOH ProcessDirector DB2 instance user you must also update RICOH ProcessDirector to use the new password.
  1. To change the password in RICOH ProcessDirector, enter this command:
    /opt/IBM/aiw/V1.0/bin/updateInstPassword.sh
    Note: There is another copy of updateInstPassword in the aix/db directory on the RICOH ProcessDirector product CD.
