Using the Management Console Page
Use the Management Console page to check the change in the colors of a printer over time, after you use the
color verification feature of the Quick Color Adjustment function. On the Management Console page, use the options in the left pane and the options under the graphs to customize
the data to display in the graphs.
To use the Management Console page:
- On the Management Console page, select the Date Range for which you want to display the graph or graphs.
- In the date field on the left, select the Expand
button.
The calendar is displayed. - Select the start date from which you want to view measurement results in the graph.
- In the date field on the right, select the Expand
button.
The calendar is displayed. - Select the end date up to which you want to view measurement results in the graph.
Once you change the Date Range, the information for the selected period is displayed in the graphs. - In the date field on the left, select the Expand
- Select the Location of the printers for which you want to display the graph. The values in this list are the locations created on the Locations page that you can access from the Configuration page. To display the graphs for all printers, select All (default).
- In the Color Verification field, select the color verification standard used for providing CMYK colors and determining the color deviation.
- To display the graphs by printer, select Printer in the Change View field.
- In the Printers list, select the printer or printers for which to display the graphs. The list contains the printers defined in the selected Location. By default, all the printers in the list are selected, therefore the graphs for all the printers are displayed. To hide the graphs for some printers, clear the checkbox next to those printers.
- In the legend under each graph, select the paper names of the papers you want to hide from the graph. By default, all the papers specified under the graph are displayed. To hide a paper from a graph, click that paper under the graph. Once you click an active paper under a graph, that paper becomes inactive, and the corresponding lines are no longer displayed in the graph.
- To display the graphs by paper, select Paper in the Change View field.
- In the Papers list, select the paper or papers for which to display the graphs. The list contains the papers defined on the Paper Catalog page, which are linked with the printers defined in the selected location. By default, all the papers in the list are selected, therefore the graphs for all the papers are displayed. To hide the graphs for some papers, clear the checkbox next to those papers.
- In the legend under each graph, select the printer names of the printers you want to hide from the graph. By default, all the printers specified under the graph are displayed. To hide a printer from a graph, click that printer under the graph. Once you click an active printer under a graph, that printer becomes inactive, and the corresponding lines are no longer displayed in the graph.
- To export the color verification results in CSV format, select the Export
button.
- To refresh the graphs to display the updated information, select the Refresh
button.
- To view the summary of the results for the options selected on the left part of the
Management Console page, select the Result Summary
button. Each graph has its own Result Summary
button.
- To zoom in and out the graph, use the mouse wheel while hovering over the graph.
