Customizing the InfoPrint SMIT production print interface

Before using the InfoPrint SMIT production print interface, you specify which InfoPrint components and attributes you want to monitor by setting environment variables in one or more environment files. Initially, you can use the default environment file that is supplied with InfoPrint. During installation, InfoPrint adds information about the environment file in the /etc/environment file to provide system-wide defaults.
