Configuring the automatic download of registry updates

To facilitate the installation on multiple machines, you can export the registry settings from a correctly configured system.
  1. Start Command Prompt.
Note: You must have administrator privileges or the account you use must be in the ipmupdategroup group. If you are running Command Prompt using an administrator account, make sure that you select the Run as Administrator option.
  2. Type ipmupdateserverctl freeze and press the Enter key to enter Maintenance mode.
      Note:
    • The Maintenance mode unlocks the product path folder and you can add and remove any files contained in the parent folder. The InfoPrint Manager server is also temporarily disabled.
  3. Copy the registry file with updated settings to the Registry folder.
      Note:
    • The correct registry settings can be exported as a .reg file from Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\RICOH\Infoprint Select\Configuration.
    • The default registry folder path is <configuration_dir>\Products\<product_dir>\Windows\<product_version>\Registry\.
  4. Run ipmupdateserverctl unfreeze to exit the Maintenance mode.
