Replacing the Server Computer

Use this section whenever you need to replace the computer connected to the scanner.

Before replacing the computer connected to the scanner:

  • Upgrade the application to the latest version.
  • Back up the application settings.
  • Install the latest version of the application on the new computer.
  • Restore the backup file.
  • Activate the license.

  1. Replacing the Computer
    This section explains the required operations for replacing the computer that is connected to the scanner.
  2. Backing Up Data
    Before you replace the computer connected to the scanner, back up your calibration model file and application settings.
  3. Restoring Data
    When you replace the computer connected to the scanner, restore the calibration model file on your replacement computer. If you have a previously created backup file, restore the application settings.
  4. Activating the Application License
    Before activating the application license, install the application and restore the application data, if any.
