Replacing the Computer

This section explains the required operations for replacing the computer that is connected to the scanner.
To replace the computer:
  1. Copy the data and remove the application from the computer that you want to replace.
    1. Upgrade the application to the latest version on the computer that you want to replace, if applicable. For more information, see Upgrading the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster.
    2. Back up the data on the computer that you want to replace. For more information, see Backing Up Data.
    3. Uninstall the application on the computer that you want to replace. For more information, see Uninstalling the Application.
  2. Set up the new computer.
    1. Connect the scanner to the new computer. For more information, see Connecting the Scanner to the Computer.
    2. Install the application. For more information, see Installing the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster and Downloading the Fiery Command WorkStation.
    3. Restore the application data. For more information, see Restoring Data.
    4. Activate the application. For more information, see Activating the Application License.
