Replacing the Computer
This section explains the required operations for replacing the computer that is connected
to the scanner.
- Copy the data and remove the application from the computer that you want to replace.
- Upgrade the application to the latest version on the computer that you want to replace, if applicable. For more information, see Upgrading the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster.
- Back up the data on the computer that you want to replace. For more information, see Backing Up Data.
- Uninstall the application on the computer that you want to replace. For more information, see Uninstalling the Application.
- Set up the new computer.
- Connect the scanner to the new computer. For more information, see Connecting the Scanner to the Computer.
- Install the application. For more information, see Installing the RICOH Auto Color Adjuster and Downloading the Fiery Command WorkStation.
- Restore the application data. For more information, see Restoring Data.
- Activate the application. For more information, see Activating the Application License.
