Requesting help for SMIT status windows

The InfoPrint SMIT production print interface displays separate status windows that show the results of queries you make. The status windows also provide help for the tasks you can perform from them. The status windows are the same for both AIXwindows mode and ASCII mode.

Complete these steps to receive help for menu selections on SMIT status windows:

  1. Click the Help menu at the far right of the menu bar for the status window. A pull-down menu displays with one entry for each of the tasks you can perform from the window.
  2. Select an item from the list. A Help window displays providing instructions on performing the task.
