color-toner-saver

For PSF destinations, when cyan, magenta, and yellow (cmyk) are combined in a certain proportion, the result approximates black. When the color-toner-saver attribute is used, the proportion of cyan, magenta, and yellow are reduced and substituted with black toner, which reduces the amount of color toner used. This option only applies to non-cmyk PostScript (for example, RGB) for which a color rendering dictionary (CRD) is used to determine the cmyk values to use.

For CUPS destinations, enable this setting to pass to the underlying printing system the corresponding driver option which prints using a reduced amount of toner when printing out copies. Print results are lighter in density than normal. For more information, see "Mapping Attributes and Values to PPD Options" in the RICOH InfoPrint Manager for Linux: Getting Started.
