Starting the InfoPrint Manager Web Management Interface

To start the InfoPrint Manager Web Management Interface:

  1. Open a compatible browser. For a list of supported browsers, see Verifying prerequisites in RICOH InfoPrint Manager for AIX: Planning Guide.
  2. In the address bar, enter: http://hostname:14080/wmi where hostname is the InfoPrint Manager computer name or the IP address where you are running the InfoPrint Manager Web Management Interface application.
  3. Use these credentials in the login panel: DefaultUser for user name and password for password.

Changing the DefaultUser password

We recommend that you change the DefaultUser password as soon as possible.

To change the default password for DefaultUser:

  1. In the left-hand Security panel, click Default Security.
  2. Enter the current password in the Current Password field.
  3. Enter the new password in the New Password field.
  4. Confirm your new password by entering it again in the Re-type New Password field.
  5. Click SAVE.

Adding a server in InfoPrint Manager Web Management Interface

To add a server:

  1. In the left-hand Processes panel, click Server.
  2. Click , the create button, on the top right corner of the page.
  3. In the New Server dialog, update values as needed. For information about a property, click the ? button next to it.
  4. Click OK.
